What moves us to play?
Our main commitment with culture and art is to deliver music to all the corners of the world.
An experience which unites feelings.
Our main commitment with culture and art is to deliver music to all the corners of the world. Guitar players from different backgrounds have united to support the cultural creation of Málaga. Students, teachers and guitar alumni row in the same direction to spread our work.
Within our roots, we look for an intimate and warm sound which, through our instruments,
creates a unique experience; one where performers and audiences’ feelings are united.
The music is not elitist: with brief explanations, we introduce our audience in the repertoire.
We are passionate for all styles and periods, from the Renaissance up to new compositions,
without forgetting the Spanish Folklore and Jazz music. Our eagerness to broaden our
library encourages us to write our own arrangements and to take an interest in collaborating with active composers.
Since our establishment in 2014, thanks to the German guitar player Marie-Lena Olma, we
have taken part in numerous national and international concerts.
Thanks to the Baden-Württemberg Landesmusikrat grant we were able to be part of a
cultural exchange in that region of Germany. A year later, the Robert Schumann Hochschule of Düsseldorf invitation gave us the chance to return to Germany and open the international Festival “Viva la guitarra!”.
The Ateneo Cultural Association in Málaga and the Unicaja Foundation have also trusted us. The earlier invited us to play for their 50th anniversary at the Picasso Museum auditorium and the latter gave us the chance to perform at the Joaquín Peinado Museum in Ronda.
The Musical Foundation of Málaga has been a fundamental support for us. Since we signed
the agreement with them, we have been part of very interesting projects where we show our most charitable and social side: concerts in small towns in Málaga in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Málaga and our participation in the Fair Saturday movement, offering concerts at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC).
